Spooky glow bingo was on tap this afternoon! We enjoyed fun prizes and lots of laughs all dressed up in our glasses, bracelets, and hats.

Decorating pumpkins put us in the fall mood. The weather is finally cooler and these little pumpkins will look great in our rooms.

We spent yesterday afternoon listening to some great music from Jerry Urich. Live music is our favorite and we appreciate Jerry sharing his talent with us.

We spent the morning making homemade noodles with our dietary manager and Miss Dorothy. We were really good at supervising these 2 and look forward to eating them tomorrow for our resident's choice meal. Thanks ladies for a fun morning full of reminiscing and laughter.

We have been counting down the days, and it did not disappoint! The sweetheart contestants for the National Sweetheart Pageant and Miss Hoopeston came to visit. We got to visit, get some autographs, and they even sang to us! Good luck to these beautiful, kind young women this weekend.

We love to celebrate birthdays around here and today we celebrated big with Mary and Rhonda and a visit from one of our favorite musicians, Troy Stone.

In honor of the Illinois State Fair going on we held a carnival today for the residents. They played games, earned carnival bucks and got to "buy" prizes with their money. We even had elephant ears for a snack. What a fun afternoon!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and proves you're never too old for a good water fight and slip and slide. Lots of sneak attacks and plenty of soaked shirts made for tons of memories and was a great way to beat the heat.
