Feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to start when it comes to your health?

The absolute basics that nature has to offer us is a great start:

- adequate sunlight
- grounding
- proper nutrition with Whole Foods
- hydration
- movement
- the Word of God
- prioritizing sleep
- improving nasal breathing
- nurturing meaningful relationships
- controlling your thoughts and words

Simple, but powerful tools you can start implementing today and begin transforming your life.

Which of those aspects had been fundamental in your health journey and you would recommend your friend?

No medical advice, but for your information only.

Light is an important signal that tells our brain what time of the day it is and it helps our body know what to do when.

Our internal clock coordinates our circadian rhythm: the daily patterns in sleep, hormone release, digestion, energy, and so much more.

When morning light enters our eyes, it signals to that clock: it’s daytime.

Cortisol naturally rises toward morning, helping us feel awake and ready for the day. Getting morning light helps keep that daily rhythm on track. It also signals our other steroid hormones to be released, like estrogen, progesterone, testosterone. The sun literally sets our hormonal tone for the day. (Hello hormone regulation!)

Daylight also supports alertness and mood. And by setting our internal clock in the morning, it helps time the evening rise in melatonin as darkness arrives to prepares us for sleep, which improved so much for me!
Important to note here: protect the darkness after sunset by eliminating blue light from screens, tv, etc and keep your house lights dim. I changed some bulbs out using The Healthy Home Shop .

So supporting sleep (and every other bodily function) starts long before bedtime. It starts with the light we receive during the day.

As with everything, consistency is key! 😊

What have you noticed implementing morning sunlight in your daily routines? 👇🏼

When you are in your follicular phase, high energy, sharing all your ideas and projects you have planned for both you, but also letting him know about the reality that once luteal phase hits I might just want to burn it all down. So please bear with me. 😅

Shoutout to all the husbands who are trying to keep up (or are rather are taken along on the journey ) with their wife as she continues to learn her body’s natural biology and rhythms.

Is anyone else’s hubby automatically enrolled into whatever you are currently learning and trying when it comes to health? 🙋🏽‍♀️
After all, he definitely needs it! 😆

When mom brought her at that time one and a half months old baby girl, they both were struggling!

I noticed lots of tension throughout her body: in her pelvis and hips, both shoulders were shrugged up, neck felt compressed, hands fi**ed tightly, cranial strain, and she was uncomfortable lying on her back.

After our first session with gentle osteopathic techniques (in the Craniosacral, visceral, and musculoskeletal field) we were already seeing great improvements in her feeding, contentment, and overall body alignment.
Mom said: “You changed my life!”

Happy baby - happy mama ❤️

If you heard before “they’ll grow out of it”, or “that’s normal”, but you know something is going on with your child that you are not willing to except as “normal”, have you considered bodywork for your infant?

Their little body might be struggling from a tension from birth or the way they were lying in utero - keeping them in fight or flight mode. This can impact every function: from feeding, to pooping, sleeping, and overall wellbeing. But there is hope for change!

Reach out if you’re ready to explore holistic bodywork for your baby 💕

We spend so much time asking:

Is this the right treatment?
Is this the right approach?
Is this what my child needs?

But maybe there’s another question worth asking:

How does my child experience the person providing that care, would I enjoy it myself?

Because their nervous system is paying attention, too.

To the tone of voice.
The touch.
The patience.
The playfulness.
Whether someone connects with them before asking something of them.

Our children are not problems to manage or symptoms to correct.

They are human beings receiving care.

And no, that doesn’t mean every appointment has to be fun or that necessary care will never feel uncomfortable.

It means our children can still be treated with dignity, kindness and respect through it all.

The treatment matters. But so does how they are treated.

Have you ever had a provider who made your child feel genuinely safe and cared for? What did they do differently? 🤍

We often think healing is about finding the right treatment, the right technique, the right practitioner.

And yes—those things matter.

But this client reminded me that we don’t receive care in isolation.

We receive it through someone’s hands.
Their voice.
Their presence.
The pace of the room.
The way we are spoken to.
The way we are touched.
The way our body feels while we’re there.

Sometimes the question isn’t only, “Am I receiving the right kind of care?”

It’s also:

“How do I feel while I’m receiving it?”

Do I feel heard?
Do I feel rushed?
Can I soften here?
Do I feel genuinely cared for?

Skill matters. Technique matters.

But so does the human being delivering it.

And I think sometimes we underestimate just how much that matters. 🤍

Have you ever experienced someone’s presence as part of the healing itself?

With Love,
Elene ✨

1. Water floss first
We start with a water flosser, flushing around the expander, along the molar bands, underneath the expander arms, and anywhere food tends to get trapped.

2. Brush thoroughly
Next, I brush his teeth with an electric toothbrush, or I have also used a small not electric toothbrush before, paying extra attention to the teeth and gumline around the appliance.

3. Inspect the expander
Then he lies on his back so I can actually see what I’m doing. I use a dental mirror and dental explorer (got them both from Amazon) to carefully inspect around the molar bands, expander arms of the appliance for any trapped food i may have missed.

4. Brush again
I go back in with the electric toothbrush and water only, focusing on any areas that need a little more cleaning.

5. Turn the expander — when scheduled
I finish by turning the expansion screw with the key, according to our turning instructions.

It takes a little extra time, but expanders have so many small spaces where food and plaque can hide. But that final check with the mirror is probably the most important part of our routine because I can actually see what brushing and rinsing may have missed.

✨Save this for your next expander-cleaning night, or send it to an expander parent. And tell me what’s the hardest part of keeping your child’s expander clean? 👇🏼

Apparently the only way my husband can get bodywork from his own wife… is to officially get on my schedule. 😂

Because somehow it’s easier to make time for everyone else’s family than your own.

The people we love have access to our skills 24/7, which somehow means they get them the least. 😅

Fellow professionals—how do you make sure your own family actually benefits from what you do?
