Sometimes the best answer from your plastic surgeon is “not yet.”
It’s not about turning you away or denying you your goals. It’s about making sure you’re in the best position and condition to have a safe surgery and recovery.
As a plastic surgeon, one of my priorities will always be your safety.
This is especially important when planning procedures after massive weight loss, where your health, history, and individual needs can all play a role in deciding when and how surgery should be performed.
Finding the right surgeon for you means finding someone who will be honest about what you can expect, what your options are, and when surgery may not be the right choice yet.
Your goals matter and so does your safety.
