A whole year since this idea came to live in my head and heart. 💗
And just 5 months since we opened our doors. ✂️
One Drop Refillery grew quickly from an idea to a real place—with shelves, products, customers, refills, conversations, coffee, workshops, and a community that I honestly couldn’t have imagined when I started.
When I look back at all that has happened in such a short amount of time, I’m so amazed.
I’ve learned how to run a business.
I’ve learned that not every day is going to go according to plan.
I’ve learned that people are incredibly generous with their encouragement, their expertise and their time.
I’ve learned that the “perfect time” doesn’t really exist—and sometimes you just have to take the leap anyway.
I’ve watched people walk through the door who had never heard of a refillery before…and leave excited about making a simple swap.
I’ve watched customers become regulars and then become friends. 💕
I’ve hosted workshops, welcomed new faces, celebrated milestones, made mistakes, figured things out, and continued to show up.
And maybe most importantly, I’ve found my people and my purpose.
The people who get excited about reducing waste. ♻️
The people who want healthier, simpler choices for their homes. 🏠
The people who believe that small changes matter. 💧
The people who have cheered me on from the very beginning. 🎉
When I started One Drop, I had a vision.
But what I didn’t fully understand was that the vision wasn’t just about products on a shelf.
It was about creating a place where people could come as they are, learn something new, make a small change, and feel like they were part of something bigger.
And somehow, just five months in, that is becoming a reality.
