Yesterday, I spent some time tackling a few back-burner tasks—dusting, cleaning windows, restocking shelves, and freshening up the shop. As I worked, I found myself thinking about what people experience when they walk through our doors for the very first time.

Sometimes essential oils don’t work. Sometimes the natural remedy you’re doing won’t cut it. ⠀

And that’s ok. ⠀
⠀
And it happens to me too. And it happens to even the ones who seem to have it ALL TOGETHER...I promise.⠀
⠀
Kicker came down with a bad ear ache yesterday and even doing all the natural remedies it wasn’t quit cutting it. So at 2am I gave him ibuprofen. And we both slept. And it’s ok. And today the pain came back again- with a vengeance. So I gave him another one. And he started smiling and eating again. And that’s ok.

It doesn’t mean natural doesn’t work. It just means sometimes we need to also be ok with accepting conventional solutions especially when someone needs rest and relief.

I don’t know who needed to hear this or if it was just me needing to remind myself 💛
