It is always a great time when we can get out and support our local community. Last night Elizabeth, Kari and Advisory Board Member Peggy Carter attended the local CHOPPED 2026: A Celebrity Cooking Competition Benefiting the Community Service Council of West Pasco on behalf of Vincent House Pasco.

Some of the greatest moments are when our members get their 1st paychecks with our TEs. We are throwing it back this week to Donald Hamner working for Pasco County Housing Authority (PCHA).

We love PCHA as a Transitional Employment (TE) partner. This partnership offers Clubhouse members the opportunity to learn customer service and janitorial skills with Hudson Hills and Pasco Terrace.

We do have amazing staff! Around Vincent House we call him the “Food Experience Facilitator”. If you have dined with us, it is his recipes you are tasting that come to life with the help of members. You can find him in the Culinary Unit as well as taking care of the bee hives.

Make sure you tell him congratulations on being accepted as part of the Leadership Pasco Class of 2027.

👉🏻There is a magical moment we are sometimes fortunate enough to witness—the moment when something shifts inside a person and you can literally see it in their physical countenance. Their face changes. Their eyes lift. Their posture may straighten just a little. And for a brief moment, you can see them seeing themselves differently.

👉🏻Maybe they have accomplished something they weren’t sure they could do. Maybe they feel genuinely needed, valued, or worthy. Maybe they have discovered a sense of pride they haven’t felt in a very long time.
