Pamela Ema Blank (née Persson), age 78, of Laconia, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her most. By her side were her devoted husband, Bill; her son Bill Jr. and daughter-in-law Janis; her son Christopher; and her lifelong friend, Mary. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Eddie.

Pam will be forever missed and lovingly remembered in the hearts of her devoted husband of 61 years, Bill, her lifelong partner and the love of her life; her son, Bill Jr., and his wife, Janis; her son, Chris, and his wife, Michele; Eddie’s widow, Kathy; her cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Caden, Kaia, Erin and her husband, Kirk, and Caroline and her fiancé, Pat; her adored great-grandchildren, Callan and Clara; her beloved sister-in-law, Betty Yule; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Among those who will feel her absence most deeply is her treasured friend of 46 years, Mary Bearor, who was truly her sister from another mother. Their friendship was a rare and beautiful gift, woven through decades of laughter, unwavering support, and unconditional love. Through every season of life, they stood faithfully beside one another, sharing a lifetime of memories, laughter, love and a bond so deep and enduring that they were family in every way that truly mattered.

Pam was born in Flushing, New York, on November 8, 1947, to the late Edmund “Jack” and Gertrude (née Gallo) Persson.

Therese (Dionne) Duval, 91, long time resident of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday July 26, 2026.

She was born May 6, 1935 in Canada, daughter of the late Demetrius and Marie Anna Dionne.

Therese will be be lovingly remembered by her two sons and daughter; Guy and his significant other Janet, Claude, Claudette and her significant other Ron, a grandson; Roy and his wife Alyza, a granddaughter; Madison, two great grandchildren; Brody and Rylee as well as several nieces and nephews in Canada, two very special nieces who assisted in her care; Ghislaine and Diane and her two fur babies; Princess and Baby Girl.

Therese loved gardening and crocheting and will be missed by all who knew her.

A special note of thanks to the associates and care givers at the Derry Rehab who showed extra love and care for Therese.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday July 29th from 10:30am -11:30am with a Service of Remembrance at 11:30am in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street in Hudson. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.

When attending a military funeral, it's common to view the Military Honor Guard perform a flag folding ceremony. The U.S. flag that was draped over the casket is meticulously folded 13 times. Each fold has a significant meaning:

The FIRST fold of our flag is a symbol of life.
The SECOND fold signifies our belief in eternal life.
The THIRD fold is made in honor and tribute of the Veteran departing our ranks, and who gave a portion of his or her life for the defense of our country to attain peace.
The FOURTH fold exemplifies our weaker nature as citizens trusting in God; it is to Him we turn for His divine guidance.
The FIFTH fold is an acknowledgement to our country, for in the words of Stephen Decatur, “Our country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right, but it is still our country, right or wrong.”
The SIXTH fold is for where our hearts lie. It is with our heart that we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The SEVENTH fold is a tribute to our armed forces, for it is through the armed forces that we protect our country and our flag against all enemies.
The EIGHTH fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day, and to honor our mother, for whom it flies on Mother’s Day.
The NINTH fold is an honor to womanhood, for it has been through their faith, love, loyalty, and devotion that the character of men and women who have made this country great have been molded.
The TENTH fold is a tribute to father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of our country since he or she was first-born.
The ELEVENTH fold, in the eyes of Hebrew citizens, represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies, in their eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The TWELFTH fold, in the eyes of a Christian citizen, represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in their eyes, God the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost.
The LAST fold, when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost, reminding us of our national motto, “In God We Trust.”
