This time tomorrow, we’ll be well under way for our third annual Huntington Area Hymn Sing!

Join us for an inspiring evening of your favorite songs led by Chosen Road, an Appalachian bluegrass group formed right here in WV.

Saturday, July 18 at 6 p.m. – doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Highlawn Center (former Highlawn Baptist Church), 2788 Collis Avenue, Huntington.

We are grateful for the generous support of our sponsors—proceeds from the evening will benefit FaithHealth Appalachia and Tri-State Bible College as we work together to strengthen faith and health across our region.

Bring your family, friends, and church groups to lift your voices in timeless hymns and enjoy a night of fellowship and encouragement. Spread the word, share this post, and we’ll see you tomorrow evening!

The American Diabetes Association's updated Consumer Guide is a practical, easy-to-use tool to help people living with diabetes compare devices, technology, and other products so they can make informed decisions about their care. It pulls together clear explanations, product comparisons, and links to additional ADA tools and programs that support everyday diabetes management for individuals and families.

We’re grateful that our board member, Dan Hager, is helping lead this work in his role as the ADA’s Director of Community Connection, using his deep experience in community health to connect people not only to information, but also to local resources, education, and support. We’re proud to see one of our own using a national platform to make life with diabetes a little less overwhelming and a lot more hopeful!

We will get straight to the point. We need your help. The Mason County Ministerial Association has loved our neighbors on behalf of many churches for years. Every Monday we have people walk through our doors in desperate need of help. Sometimes people in our community have no where else to turn and they come to us - the body of Christ comprised of believers like you - so that they can keep the lights on or warm their house for their children and other such needs. Often when they leave they are so touched by the generosity of churches and the love of Jesus Christ that they weep.

Unfortunately due to the great need in our community our finances are at a point where we may have to stop helping people. We average $800-1,000 a week but may need to put a pause on our ministry very soon. That is why we need your help. The Mason County Ministerial Association is only able to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ due to the generosity of churches and organizations who partner with us to build the kingdom of God.

People come to us for financial help but we also pray with people, give them Bibles, connect them to churches, and offer them spiritual counseling and friendship. If you or your church feels led by the Holy Spirit to help us make a difference for the kingdom then please consider donating to us with either a one time donation or monthly commitment.

Above all we ask for your prayers. We sincerely believe in the power of prayer and the Lord we serve. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and support and may God bless you richly.
