I don't believe people carry pain because they're broken. I believe they carry pain because their bodies have been working tirelessly to protect them.
My job is to honor that protection while gently helping them remember they don't have to carry it alone anymore.
Every body has a story.
Sometimes it's written in tight shoulders.
Sometimes it's hidden in a clenched jaw.
Sometimes it's carried quietly in aching hips or a back that never seems to relax.
We often think massage is about "breaking knots."
I don't believe that.
I believe our bodies protect us.
They adapt.
They compensate.
They hold on when life asks too much of us.
My job isn't to fight your body.
My job is to understand it.
To listen.
To notice not only where you're hurting, but what your body may have been trying to say all along.
Healing isn't just about changing tissue.
It's about helping your nervous system remember what safety feels like.
Because sometimes the body doesn't need more force.
Sometimes it simply needs someone willing to listen.🤍
