The Story Behind Our Casket Company
Established 2010
In a quiet Amish community, where the sound of saw and mallet is more common than machines and time is measured by sunlight rather than clocks, a casket company was created with a simple but sacred purpose:
To honor life by honoring death with humility, craftsmanship, and reverence.
For generations, Amish craftsmen have built what lasts — homes, barns, tables, and tools — not for vanity, but for service. When a member of their community passed away, families did what they had always done: they built a casket themselves. It was a final act of love — plain, strong, and made by hand.
But the world has changed and families outside of Amish communities face a funeral system that has become very expensive, and often impersonal. Recognizing this reality, we were sure that many families might want something different — something honest. That they might not want factory-made, polished boxes. Maybe they would want something built by human hands, with care and reverence.
So, we decided to offer the Amish casket craftsmanship to the wider world.
Not to grow rich.
Not to build a brand.
But to serve families in their most vulnerable hour.
Every casket built is made the same way we would want for our own family members. American grown solid woods are carefully selected. The joints are all cut and fitted by hand. No unnecessary decorations, no flashy metals, and quiet dignity for the interiors.
We believe death should not be a transaction.
It should be a moment of reflection, respect, and closure.
Amish faith teaches that all people return to the earth the same way they came into it — without pride, without wealth, and without pretense. A beautiful handcrafted wooden casket reflects that truth.
