A clean-looking tooth doesn’t always mean a healthy tooth!

Dental X-rays allow our veterinary team to see below the gumline, where we can detect problems that may not be visible during an oral exam alone—such as damaged tooth roots, bone loss, infection, or teeth that need to be extracted.

In fact, a significant portion of a pet’s tooth is hidden beneath the gums. Without X-rays, we could miss painful disease that your pet can’t tell us about. ❤️
