Your inner thighs and pelvic floor are more connected than you may think. Strengthen one, and you’re helping support the other.

Strong adductors do more than stabilize your hips—they play an important role in pelvic health. Research has shown that the adductors and pelvic floor work together, meaning adductor strengthening can help improve your maximal pelvic floor muscle contraction and stability. Building strength from the inside out can improve stability, performance, and confidence in everyday activities.

It’s summer league in rocket city! Ready to build strength that directly translates into the water?

1. Pull-Ups build the lats, shoulders, and upper back muscles responsible for powerful pulling through the water. Stronger pull-ups often translate to stronger and more efficient stroke mechanics.
2. Bent-Over Pulldowns reinforce the pulling pattern swimmers use with every stroke. Pulldowns help to develop lat strength, scapular control, and endurance for maintaining stroke power throughout a race.
3. Explosive Squats improve lower-body power and force production. This translates to stronger starts, faster turns, and more powerful underwaters.

Train with purpose and watch your swimming improve from the blocks to the finish wall.
