Mr. Belknap has a rare genetic neuromuscular disorder that affects his balance and strength in his hips and legs. When he began physical therapy at Austin Physical Therapy, stability and independence were real concerns.

Since then, he’s built strength in his hips, calves, and ankles — and his balance has noticeably improved. 💪

In his words, this work “helps to keep me out of a wheelchair.”

We hit the road to Birmingham for the 44th Annual Andrews Injuries in Baseball Course at the American Sports Medicine Institute this weekend ⚾️

This is a yearly stop for our team because we value the way ASMI breaks down complex injuries and brings that next-level insight back to our clinic. We learned a ton, had a great time together, and are already talking through ways to bring that knowledge straight into care for our patients.

Proud of this crew for leaning into education and always striving to do better!

A little Christmas Eve joy from our team Christmas party 🎄

We shared a great meal, took time to say thank you for this team, and played a few games (with Smith somehow walking away with BOTH jackpots… still unclear how that happened).

After 15 years of growing Austin Physical Therapy, nights like this remind us that the culture we’ve built is really about the people around the table. We’re incredibly thankful for this team and the fun they bring into everything we do.
