We were honored to announce our 2026–27 Student Scholar Athlete Scholarship recipients, Lillie Meeks and Luke Martin. Congratulations to both of these outstanding student-athletes on this well-deserved achievement!

A huge congratulations as well to all of the award winners recognized throughout the evening. North Alabama is home to some truly remarkable athletes, students, coaches, and leaders.

🎉 Congratulations to our May Student Scholar Athletes of the Month, Rebecca Hillman and Luke Martin! 🎉

Rebecca, a senior at Buckhorn High School, exemplifies excellence both in the classroom and beyond. Ranked in the top 10% of her class with a 4.23 GPA, she balances rigorous AP and dual enrollment coursework with an incredible cheerleading career that includes 8 State Championships, 4 UCA National Championships, and numerous All-Star titles. Her dedication to service through tutoring, volunteering, and caring for her special-needs brothers makes her an outstanding role model.

Luke, a standout student-athlete at Arab High School, maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA while excelling as a baseball team captain and earning multiple All-Area honors. Recognized among Alabama’s Top Class of 2026 baseball prospects, Luke has signed with Covenant College and earned an academic scholarship. His leadership extends beyond the field through his involvement in National Beta Club, FCA, and mentoring younger athletes.
