Fertility Institute of North Alabama FINA is an infertility clinic that provides comprehensive fertility evaluation, treatment, support.

We are a fertility clinic located in Huntsville, AL serving the North Alabama and Middle Tennessee regions. Our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) specialist, Dr. Brett Davenport, is fellowship trained and double board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and REI. He is dedicated to offering an exceptionally high standard of care that is individualized to your personal needs. Dr.

Davenport understands that infertility and hormonal imbalances are some of the most emotionally, spiritually, and mentally consuming issues that an individual or couple may face, and strives to address each of your needs with grace and compassion. We often work with patients in Madison, Decatur, Guntersville, Albertville, Scottsboro, Florence, Muscle Shoals, Athens, Hartselle, Cullman, Fort Payne, and much of middle Tennessee.

“We just graduated from the clinic with our 2nd FINA baby. I've been a patient there since 2023, had my first in 2024 and am pregnant with my second child in 2026. It's been a hard journey, but the staff here make it bearable. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad interaction. I am so thankful to this clinic for getting me here. I'm older and have DOR (Diminished Ovarian Reserve). Everyone's always been honest and realistic from the start about my actual chances, and I always appreciated that. I didn't want anything sugar coated. I'm actually going to really miss everyone.”

“FINA has been such a wonderful experience for me. The doctor is amazing, very detailed, knowledgeable, and truly takes the time to explain everything clearly. The nurses and staff are also super friendly, caring, and welcoming. They make me feel comfortable, supported, and almost like family. I feel like I can talk to them about anything without feeling judged. Fertility treatment can be emotional and stressful, but the team at FINA makes the journey feel much easier. If you are struggling with infertility, it's okay to be as open or as private as you feel comfortable with during your journey. Don't be afraid to set boundaries and to say no to social situations. Be sure to make your mental health a priority, even if that means staying off of social media.

Today is World Embryologist Day! On July 25, 1978, the world's first IVF baby was born, and since then there have been amazing advances in fertility medicine that have helped countless couples achieve their dreams of having a baby. 💕

Embryologists play an important role in an IVF clinic. Embryologists are those who study s***m, eggs, and embryos. They will be able to determine which s***m, eggs, and embryos are the healthiest and can be selected for IVF treatment.
