Calling all front of the pack runners.

If you’re planning to race at the front of the pack, there’s another title waiting for you at the finish line.

The Rocket City Marathon is officially the RRCA Alabama State Marathon Championship! And that means a BIG bonus for our fast runners. This year, you’ll have even more to race for with the opportunity to compete for overall, age group AND Alabama State Championship honors!

Winners for this title receive a special state championship medal and recognition across various divisions (Open, 40+ Masters, 50+ Grand Masters, and 60+ Senior Grand Masters) for men and women, compliments of RRCA.

We are truly blessed and grateful for the incredible support and donations received through our WE RUN WE FINISH 5K. Because of your generosity, we’ve been able to pour back into our local schools and help them prepare for another successful school year. 📚🎒

Here at Rocket City Runners, we truly believe that if you want change, you have to BE the change. And that change starts with investing in and providing a helping hand to the next generation. 🤝🏾

We are officially 21 days away from the first-ever Random Medal 5K in Huntsville, Alabama!

We wanted to share a quick event update. We’ve increased the prizes to make race day even more exciting!

🏅 Largest Registered Group Award: Every member of the winning group will receive 3 random finisher medals.

🥇 Overall Male & Female Champions: Each overall winner will receive 5 random finisher medals.

We can’t wait to see everyone on race day for this one-of-a-kind event. If you haven’t registered yet, now is the perfect time come experience the surprise of the Random Medal 5K and see which medals you’ll take home!

Today, is the day for the Rocket City community to come pick up FREE backpacks from your Rocket City Runners family!

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’ve collected 20+ backpacks to help our Baby Rockets start the school year strong. We believe in showing up for our youth, both on and off the course.
