❤️💛💚 Juneteenth Celebration ❤️💛💚

Residents enjoyed a wonderful Juneteenth celebration this past Friday as we gathered to learn about and honor this important part of American history. A special thank you to the Daughters of Elks R.E. Nelms Temple #1127 for joining us and sharing the significance of Juneteenth, helping us gain a deeper understanding of the holiday and its meaning.

The celebration was made even more memorable with a delicious meal featuring barbecue ribs, chicken, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and coleslaw. We are grateful to our guests for their time, hospitality, and dedication to educating our community. It was an afternoon filled with learning, fellowship, great food, and appreciation for the diverse history that has shaped our nation.

Today is The Longest Day, the summer solstice and the day with the most daylight. Across the country and around the world, people are raising awareness and supporting the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

We would also like to recognize the residents of our Lilac Trace Memory Care neighborhood, many of whom are living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. They hold a special place in our hearts, and it is a privilege to care for them and support their families each day.

🎣 Reel Cool Dads Father’s Day Celebration! 🎣

On Wednesday, we celebrated our amazing dads with an early Father’s Day event filled with fun, food, and fellowship! Our dads enjoyed a delicious fish fry featuring fish, hushpuppies, coleslaw, baked beans, rolls, and cake. Each dad received a special snacklebox gift, and everyone had the chance to win exciting raffle prizes.

The day was packed with friendly co****le competition, great music, lots of laughter, and wonderful memories. We are so grateful for all of our dads and were thrilled to celebrate them with a truly reel cool day!

What an unforgettable celebration honoring our beloved Louise on her 106th birthday! Guests stepped back into the Roaring Twenties with authentic 1920s-inspired décor, delicious food, wonderful music, and a heartfelt video tribute filled with birthday wishes for this remarkable lady. The room was packed—standing room only—as family and friends gathered to surround Louise with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

The afternoon was filled with vibrant colors, delicious tropical treats, great music, lots of laughter, and even better company. Our residents and team members embraced the island spirit, making it a truly memorable celebration!

What a wonderful time we had at our Tie One on for Alzheimer's fundraiser on Monday! 💜

Thanks to the generosity and support of our residents, families, team members, and community, we raised over $500, bringing us one step closer to our goal of $1,500 for the Alzheimer's Association.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this event such a success. Together, we're making a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease, one step at a time!

We're not done yet! Join us for our Purple Palooza Carnival Fundraiser on Monday, July 22, as we continue raising funds and awareness to help us reach our goal. We look forward to seeing everyone there for an afternoon of fun, games, and community support for a great cause.

What a wonderful day in Amish Country! 🚍🐴

We traveled to Etheridge, TN Amish Country, where we enjoyed a terrific lunch before embarking on a fascinating horse and buggy ride through the countryside. Along the way, we learned about the Amish way of life, their traditions, culture, and strong sense of community. We made several stops at local farms and shops, where everyone had the chance to purchase delicious homemade goodies, including jams, fresh bread, chow chow, pickled squash, fudge, and so much more!

It was a day filled with great food, wonderful experiences, and lasting memories. We can't wait to see where our next adventure takes us! ❤️✨

☀️🌳 What a wonderful day we had at our Picnic in the Park yesterday! Everyone enjoyed some fun in the sun while taking part in friendly games of co****le, testing their knowledge with trivia, and laughing their way through the alphabet game. We topped it all off with great music, a refreshing cool breeze, and plenty of smiles.
