Meet Willow—the newest member of the Simple Sparrow Care Farm family! We couldn’t be more excited to welcome this sweet girl to her forever home.

Did you know?
🦙 Alpacas are incredibly gentle and curious animals, making them wonderful companions.
🦙 They communicate through soft humming sounds to express comfort, curiosity, or to connect with one another.
🦙 Alpacas are herd animals, so they thrive with friends and love being part of a family.
🦙 Their fleece is one of the softest natural fibers in the world and is naturally hypoallergenic because it contains very little lanolin.

We’re looking forward to watching Willow settle in, make new friends, and become a favorite around the farm. We can’t wait to share her adventures with all of you!

Help us give Willow a warm welcome in the comments!

Can you spot the Texas spiny lizard? 🦎

At first glance, it blends perfectly into the tree.

Many children with ADHD do the same thing.

They learn to camouflage their struggles by working extra hard to appear focused, calm, organized, or “just like everyone else.”

But hiding their challenges doesn’t make them disappear.

Instead, masking often leads to:
🧠 Mental exhaustion
💙 Anxiety
😔 Low self-esteem
💥 Emotional meltdowns after school
😞 Burnout from trying so hard to fit in

Sometimes the children who seem to be doing “just fine” are using every ounce of energy simply to make it through the day.

The goal isn’t to help children become better at hiding.

The goal is to create environments where they feel safe enough to be themselves.

🩵 Every child deserves to be seen—not just for how well they blend in, but for who they truly are.

Before children learn from our words, they learn from our presence.

Every shared walk, every moment of comfort, every smile, and every quiet moment together helps build a child’s sense of safety and belonging. Those everyday moments may seem small, but they’re the foundation of secure relationships and lifelong emotional well-being.

💙 Connection comes before correction.

👢 Keep walking with courage.
🐢 Honor your pace.

The boots remind us to keep moving. Sheldon, the tortoise, reminds us that we don’t have to rush.

Mental health isn’t about how fast you heal—it’s about having the courage to keep moving forward, one step at a time. 🤎
