We are honored to be the recipient of the 2026 Jacob Bolotin Award from the National Federation of the Blind.

For the past 12 years, I3S has provided peer-to-peer support for blind and low vision individuals throughout the Greater Baltimore and Washington, DC area. Through weekly meetings, health and wellness activities, game nights, family events, and educational programs, we strive to build a welcoming and supportive community.

We are grateful to the National Federation of the Blind for this incredible recognition. Thank you to our founders, Joyce Brooks, Richard Pratt, and Lois Staves, as well as our members, volunteers, partners, and supporters who have made this achievement possible.

We look forward to continuing our mission of supporting, connecting, and empowering the blind and low vision community.
