Four years after the Dobbs decision reshaped access to reproductive health care across the country, we're proud to share a different kind of news.
Today, Planned Parenthood Great Plains is announcing plans to expand access to care in Louisiana, with telehealth services expected to launch later this summer and in-person care planned to return to New Orleans later this year.
Care in Louisiana will be provided by Planned Parenthood of Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma, part of the Planned Parenthood Great Plains network of care.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the day enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

Today is a day to celebrate Black history, Black culture, and Black joy while also remembering that freedom has never been automatic. It has always been demanded, defended, and fought for.
