Where history & tradition meet contemporary in funeral service. The funeral home where family matters The Potti & Marc F. Burr.

Burr Funeral Homes are independently owned by 6 th generation funeral director and embalmer Marc F. In 2017, Marc came to a crossroads in his professional life at the funeral home he was raised in, worked at and managed. He decided for his wellbeing and to allow him to be a better father, husband and funeral director to leave his family funeral home. After a few years of soul searching and helping various funeral homes in the area, Marc and Robert Potti reached an agreement for Marc to buy his family funeral homes, the Potti Funeral Homes. Since then, Marc has made changes to each location, including landscaping, remodeling, new furniture, video and sound systems, painting, new flooring, kids play rooms and redesigned arrangement rooms at each location. He continually tries to make each location feel as if it's a home, not just a business. His goal is for each family to feel like they are part of his family and he part of their's. He will take each family by the hand and lead them through all the options from a simple cremation to a three day traditional burial to a burial with "green" embalming and a linen or silk shroud. No request is looked down upon and he will try to make the process as easy as possible.

Vivian and I worked on a painting project today in Painesville. She supervised mostly, but we got some work done. Painting the white trim and garage doors.

Well, I almost have the front painting finished. Another few hours and it'll be done. Painted for about 5 hours today, but I think it's coming along nicely. Marc F. Burr

Marc F. Burr has been busy with projects everywhere. Today, he finished a first coat of paint on the Northeast side of the Madison funeral home. Time didn't allow him to cut it in, but it's a good start.
