We are going Under the Sea at WTH Baby & Kids Fest 2026!
We have a few VENDOR BOOTH SPOTS left! Join us for this great promotional event! (Businesses, non-profits, church children ministries - any organizations geared towards kids & families!)

At the 2024 Baby & Kids Fest we had over 1200 people in attendance and we are expectantly diving in to 2026! We are looking for a few more business vendors for this educational, intentional and interactive day full of activities and learning opportunities for families of babies and children. Booths and spaces will take a kid’s imagination to new heights as we venture “under the sea.” This event helps and educates families to attain knowledge, services, goods, & resources while they raise their children in safe, healthy and successful environments.

West Tennessee Healthcare offers the SUPER SIBLING Class on Saturday, July 25th!

This class is for soon-to-be big brothers and sisters. They learn what their role will be when their new baby arrives. Children also learn about newborn behavior and basic baby care. Each child receives a T-shirt that proudly states "I'm the big brother/sister!"

Date/Time: July 25th from 10A-12P
Age: For ages 3+

We are so blessed and grateful to have Ronald McDonald House now located in Jackson, TN and able to serve our Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) families. West Tennessee Healthcare is excited about this partnership and considers it an honor to receive the compassionate and thorough care that this national organization has a well-known history of giving to families in their time of need.

We never take for granted what an incredible privilege it is to make a meaningful difference in a child's life. Watch this video to see the profound impact quality pediatric healthcare can have on our community—beginning with even the tiniest patients.

From the very start of Jaylee's journey, our Labor & Delivery team and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provided compassionate, family-centered care during some of the most challenging and uncertain days of her life amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Through their expertise what once seemed impossible became possible.

As Jaylee grew stronger and was ready to leave the hospital, we were grateful to connect her family with another vital part of the WTH system—the Therapy & Learning Center. There, skilled therapists and specialists continued to support Jaylee's development, helping her and her family navigate each milestone with a determined spirit.

We love the cohesive teamwork that occurs in our system with children like Jaylee. We have the honor of walking alongside babies, children and families through some of life's most important moments, playing a small part in every hard-earned victory and miraculous step forward in their journey.

Jaylee, we are so glad we get to be a part of yours. 🩷

Today we celebrate the healing power of touch on International Kangaroo Care Awareness Day. 🤍

At Jackson-Madison County General Hospital NICU, we love seeing our babies safely snuggled skin-to-skin with their parents. Kangaroo Care is so much more than holding your baby close — it is medicine for both baby and parent.

Skin-to-skin care helps:
• Support brain development and function
• Strengthen attachment and emotional bonding
• Help reduce infection and infant mortality rates
• Promote deeper, more restful sleep
• Help babies regulate their breathing, heart rate, and temperature

In the NICU, parents are not visitors—they are vital members of the care team.
