⚾️ The countdown is on… just ONE WEEK until 7/31 Day! 🎉

What better way to kick off the celebration than by looking back at the wonderful time our residents had cheering on the Jackson Rockabillys! From great baseball and tasty ballpark treats to laughter and time spent together, it was a fantastic day making memories in our community.

Over the next week, we’ll be counting down to 7/31 Day by sharing some of the moments that make Alexandria Place such a special place to call home. We can’t wait to celebrate our amazing residents, families, team members, and community on July 31!

Activity: Intergenerational Relationships with FUGE campers!

Story: we are so thankful to have had these sweet students from FUGE come and spend time with us last week! We all learned more about each other and grew in understanding and friendship! We are better together than apart!

We are excited to have these two vibrant, hardworking individuals join our little big family. Their strong work ethic, positive attitudes, and coachable spirits have already made a wonderful first impression on all of us, and we know they will be incredible additions to our team!

A few fun facts to help you get to know them: Asia is a proud dog mom to Rose and comes from a big family with four sisters and one brother. Alyssa is a barrel racing rodeo queen and the proud mom of her daughter, Oakland.

Residents and Families Celebrate a Puerto Rican-Inspired Evening of Food and Fellowship

WOW. ✨Magic Moments✨

We have had one of the sweetest weeks with these great kids👏🏼

This week we were blessed to spend time with the youth group from Grace Evangelical Church in Germantown. They have been spending a week at FUGE camp at Union University⛺️🛏️🙌🏼

They proved to us that connection is so much easier than the world will have us to believe. They jumped in with great attitudes and spirit, forging connections with our residents. These connections lasted all week, and many kids left with real friends here at AP!

They listened to life stories, played games, shared interests. We truly are so much more alike than we are unalike❤️

They blessed us greatly! We love you kids!!!

We are so thankful for each piece of our AP Family, and Mrs. Sheila Carlton NP, has been a huge asset to us over the past few years.

As Sheila moves into a semi-retirement, we will miss seeing her smiling face each week. There aren’t words to express what her partnership and real care and compassion for our residents has meant to us. What a blessing it has been to serve with her!

April Burleson, FNP-C, will be stepping into her in-person role at Alexandria Place and we know that she will be a great asset to our AP Family as well!

April says, “I am excited to take on this new role with Ultra Health Providers. Mrs Sheila has left large shoes to fill with her retirement. She has taken the best care of all of the patients and I am excited to continue this standard of care.”
