Lynn's Speech Therapy Center SPEECH THERAPY Here at Lynn's Speech Center we offer up to date treatment programs that are individualized to each client.

We perform an initial evaluation to determine the clients needs and fully discuss that program with the parent at the conclusion of the evaluation. Parents leave with a clear understanding of what needs to be done to correct and restore the delays identified. We offer parent training in oral motor techniques and often video the sessions for parents to have a visual guide for the exercises to follo

w when at home. The use of fun oral motor tools such horns and straws keeps the kids motivated and helps with carryover at home. We are also lucky to share our office space with Capable Kids Pediatric Therapy making PT and OT services easily available. We set up back to back appointments as well as co-treats between the three services for parent convenience.

Myofascial release or deep tissue release allows the muscle to function better. Otherwise you’re just stressing out the other muscles that already compensate and bear the load. So if your neck or jaw increase in pain doing an oral motor exercise you’re just compensating and recruiting NOT strengthening and retraining.
