I feel so blessed to be part of such a beautiful group of midwives.
Thank you Michigan Midwives Assoication for hosting a wonderful conference. It was full of learning, laughs and making new connections.
It was very powerful to hear the journey to licensure and it just proves we as midwives are determined, hardworking and do not give up. 💪

We’re taking another step forward for families in Jackson 💛

By God’s grace and with the support of this community, I have officially purchased land for a future freestanding birth center — a place where families can receive safe, evidence-based, compassionate midwifery care close to home. This vision has been on my heart for years, and now we are moving from dream to groundwork.

I am currently applying for a grant that would provide $2,500 for land site planning, which is a critical early step in making this birth center a reality. These funds would support professional site planning services to assess land use, evaluate feasibility, and prepare the property for future development. Thoughtful planning now allows us to scale responsibly, pursue permits efficiently, and build a sustainable foundation for long-term community care.

This project is about more than a building — it’s about expanding access, restoring choice, and creating a space where families are supported, respected, and empowered in their birth journey. If you believe in accessible, community-centered maternity care, I would love your prayers and encouragement as we take these first steps forward together.

Healthy mothers. Healthy babies. A thriving community. ✨

Last night I had the honor to pitch for Michigan Women Forward event.
Even though Midwifery Care For All was not chosen for any prize money doesn't mean I stop fighting for Jackson.
We need more maternity care options and accessibility.
We women deserve more!
