AA Founders Day

Today we honor the beginning of Alcoholics Anonymous and the simple idea that changed countless lives. One alcoholic helping another. A message carried forward through sponsorship meetings and service.

Happy Memorial Day!

Today we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to others. Freedom is not free, and gratitude feels like the right place to stand today.

Recovery has taught us that sacrifice and service matter. We get a second chance at life because people before us carried a message, showed up, and helped when we could not help ourselves. Today we will honor that gift by staying sober, staying grateful, and being useful to someone else.

The beach is part of our classroom

One of the gifts of being in Jacksonville Beach is how easy it is to step outside and reset. On days like this we bring our group to the shoreline for movement, fresh air, and a chance to slow down and check in.

Getting outside helps people reconnect with their bodies and their thoughts. It makes space for honesty. It lowers the noise. It reminds our clients that recovery is not just about staying away from something. It is about coming back to themselves.

At Design Recovery we use our location and our community to support a new design for living rooted in presence, connection, and simple daily practice.

Our business development team recently took time away from the office to step back, reflect, and sharpen the way we serve. When you do work that affects real people and real families, you never stop asking how it can be better.

It asks for willingness
Recovery starts when someone decides to stop fighting everything and take one honest step forward. This is what mornings like this remind us. We do not have to do it all today. We just have to do the next right thing.
