Congratulations to Emonie Reviere, who successfully defended her dissertation "Hair Me Out: Using Photovoice methodology to explore hair messages and hair professionalism". This was a powerful photovoice study that examined hair-related messages Black women learn from their mothers and how those messages shape perceptions of hair professionalism in the workplace - and beyond.
