BIG episode for today!

We sat down with Mark Cuban for a raw conversation about , , , and why the current pharmacy system is pushing patients and independent pharmacies to the edge.

This wasn’t a surface-level interview...

Mark broke down:
• How PBMs took over healthcare
• Why prescription prices feel impossible to understand
• Where the money actually goes
• And what has to change if we want a more transparent system

One of the most honest healthcare conversations we’ve had on the podcast yet.

If you work in pharmacy, healthcare, or care about why medications cost so much — this episode is worth your time.

Last week HB 3009, filed by Representative Hausman, was perfected in the House. This Bill will allow pharmacies to distribute emergency prescriptions to patients who are living in an area that is experiencing a state of emergency. The Bill also includes amendments from State Representatives, including the language of SB 878. SB 878 will expand scope authority for CLIA waived tests and the writing of prescriptions for certain types of medical equipment. It will also allow for the over-the-counter sale of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine upon FDA authorization for over-the-counter dispensing as well as FDA approval of a warning label.
