April N. Kuehn, 44, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 3, 2026, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Miners Campus, Coaldale.

She was the wife of Matthew Chambers with whom they were together for over 24 years.

Born in Indio, CA, she was a daughter of Raymond and Alta (Hicks) Salas.

She was a graduate of Jellico High School class of 2000 and then attended Cumberland College.

She was employed as Pharmacy Tech and Store Manager for CVS in Nesquehoning. She was of the Southern Baptist Faith.

April will be remembered as the Social Butterfly. Always taken time out of her day to stop and talk to everyone. Her love for kids was seen throughout the Panther Valley Area looking out and caring for all, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Surviving along with her husband are daughters Sierra Kuehn, Annalee Chambers, and Payzlee Kuehn all of Nesquehoning; sons Ryan Anderson and his fiancé Megan Digiglio, Justin Kuehn, and Cash Chambers all of Nesquehoning; sisters Nicole Salas of Knoxville, TN and Asia Salas of Idaho; brothers Raymond Salas Jr. of Newcomb, TN and Paul Salas and his wife Anna of Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. in Grace Community Church, 15 W. Ridge St., Lansford Pa with Pastor Jeremy Benak officiating. Donations will be accepted to the Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240 to help with funeral cost. Online condolences may be shared oat www.blazoskyfh.com.

Mrs. Colena Belle (Douglas) Oliver

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colena Belle (Douglas) Oliver, Age 89, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Baptist Health Corbin in Corbin, Kentucky.

Born on January 21, 1937, she was the beloved daughter of the late Jess and Rose Ellen Douglas. Colena grew up in a vibrant home as a sister to eight brothers and sisters. She was the devoted wife of the late Kenneth Gene Oliver, the loving mother of Connie (Oliver) Baird, and the proud grandmother of Chris Baird. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends. A member of Fairview Baptist Church, Colena's faith and kindness touched many lives, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A private family service to celebrate her life was held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Douglas Cemetery.

Her family will forever hold dear the memories she leaves behind, celebrating a beautiful life lived with love. Rest in peace, Colena. You are deeply loved and missed.
