💜 National Naloxone Awareness Day – June 6 💜

Today is National Naloxone Awareness Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about naloxone (NARCAN®/Padagis®), a medication that reverses opioid overdoses and saves lives.

Naloxone is safe, easy to use, and available to anyone. You do not have to know someone who uses opioids to carry it. Having naloxone on hand could help save the life of a friend, family member, neighbor, or stranger.

Narcan can be found for FREE at the following locations in Jersey County during regular office hours:

- Jersey County Health Department
- Jerseyville Public Library
- Jersey County Sheriff's Office
- Salvation Army
- Got Faith
- Koen Counseling and Wellness Center

*Available in Grove Memorial Park in Grafton 24/7*

Another successful laundry day at Plaza laundry! We were able to provide 16 washes and 26 drys.

Position Title: Recovery Project Coordinator

Help make recovery possible for more people as part of Recovery Corps! [Site Name] is looking for great people to serve as Recovery Project Coordinators and help maximize our impact in the community.

Recovery Project Coordinators support project management, data collection and analysis, and education outreach. With great training and coaching, anyone can make a great Recovery Project Coordinator. Individuals who have lived experience with recovery are encouraged to apply.

This is an AmeriCorps member position with Recovery Corps. By giving your time as a Recovery Project Coordinator, you'll make an incredible impact in your community while gaining professional experience in the recovery field.
