Yes, that’s a view of the tag axle from the bedroom floor. We were planning on leaving tomorrow morning and documenting our trip back. Needless to say, we aren’t driving it home so I guess I’ll document the repairs. On a positive note, I can check the brake linings from the bedroom 😂🤪

Update: took the morning off from working on the motorhome to get caught up on referrals, emails and other work. Reassessed the motorhome situation this afternoon and fixed the leaks. Only need to replace one section of subfloor. Replacing old carpet with something other than carpet! Tomorrow, replace subfloor and figure out what’s going on with the hydronic heating system.

Hello everyone! Dan here. We have been crazy busy preparing our motorhome for the cross country trip from Arizona to New York. To say it’s been challenging would be an understatement. Mechanically the motorhome is solid. However, we have discovered many issues with the hot water system (Oasis hydronic heating system) and various water line leaks. Unbeknownst to us, it froze last year in Texas and was not winterized. Nothing we can’t fix but not what we had planned. I have been working nonstop. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time. I pray our drive to NY will be uneventful🙏🏻
By the way, if you are going to buy a used RV, invest in a pre-buy inspection. I am experienced and comfortable with the engine, transmission and drivetrain, I knew little about the other systems.
