"Topping Out" Celebration!!
We’re one step closer to completion of the new Atlee and welcoming nearly 100 new residents to FVK! On August 28th, residents and staff came together to celebrate this exciting milestone with delicious donuts, coffee, and plenty of smiles. As part of the celebration, residents and staff had the special opportunity to sign a structural beam that will become part of the new building, a lasting reminder of the people who make our community so special.

A special thank you to the EV Construction and LCS Development teams, along with all of their subcontractors, for all their hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship in bringing this exciting project to life. We appreciate everything you’re doing to make the new Atlee building a reality!

We are excited to watch both the Atlee and Markillie Care Center continue to take shape!

Last week, we celebrated our annual Strawberry Festival with residents and staff! A special thank you to Ketchum Family Strawberries in Paw Paw for providing the wonderfully fresh strawberries this year!

On Wednesday, we had a great turnout of residents who helped prepare the strawberries for the big day. Then on Thursday, everyone gathered to enjoy delicious strawberry shortcake provided by our phenomenal culinary team while pianist Helen Luken filled the room with beautiful music. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special, and to all who joined us to enjoy the sweet treats!
