Did any of these surprise you?? —> Community doula work can be very different then how it is presented on social media. No matter what type of birth you are planning, there is a doula out there who might be the perfect fit for supporting you through it!

Would it surprise you that 60% of the births I attend use an epidural for pain relief at some point during their birth? And lots of those are planned!

While it may seem like doula care is only for “natural” birth, that’s a huge lie! Many doulas support births in the hospital with interventions such as medical pain relief. While I love supporting low-intervention births, I love supporting a mom who feels confident making an informed choice to utilize modern conveniences for their birth experience just as much.

Doula care goes way beyond hip squeezes, and I’d love to chat with you over an initial consultation about all a doula can do to help you have a more calm and supported birth!
