MY MOTHERHOOD TATTOO:
✨ LIONESS - lions run on a matriarchy and so much of my life since I’ve become a mother has been devoted to upholding the women in our community
✨ STARS - so much of the bond of motherhood is forged at night. Birth, breastfeeding, sick babies… nighttime is our time 🤱
✨ RIGHT HIP - the place I always held my babies 🥰

While I’m still working with new moms as a doula, I felt like I wanted to get a tattoo to close the last eight years of my own early motherhood journey with a permanent symbol to remember both my sleepless nights up supporting my own cubs and the other lionesses and cubs in my community while supporting their births ❤️❤️❤️
