You’ve been holding a lot.

When was the last time you actually allowed yourself to put some of it down?

There is so much going on right now. In the world. In our own lives. We spend so much time doing, thinking, figuring things out, taking care of people, scrolling, worrying, planning… our brains rarely get a chance to just shut the hell up.

And sometimes you need that.

You need space to get out of your head and back into your body. To feel what you’ve been holding. To release some of it. To quiet all that noise long enough to hear your own intuition again.

That’s what I love about this breathwork.

This isn’t just taking a few deep breaths to relax. It’s a structured, guided breathwork journey that gives you the space to go deeper. And underneath all that noise lives clarity.

For two hours, you don’t have to take care of anyone else, you can just be.

You get to be held.
You get to be supported.
You get to receive.

I do this work myself because it brings me back to center when life gets loud. And I think a lot of us need that right now.

If you’ve been feeling scattered, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like your brain just will not shut off, this might be exactly the space you’ve been needing.

2 years ago today, I led my first public group breathwork experience. I knew it was amazing, I knew that this breathwork could be life changing but I had no idea how it would carry me through this last year. It has been what holds me together when so much around me seems to be falling apart. It has helped me find my voice, my strength, and my truth and it has allowed me the privilege to help others do the same.
You are invited to join me for a full moon breathwork experience on September 26th to feel this incredible experience for yourself!

🌕✨ Don’t forget to look up tonight! ✨🌕

If you’re in Missouri tonight, we’re getting a pretty incredible view of the lunar eclipse, with nearly the entire moon slipping into Earth’s shadow.

It should start becoming really noticeable around 9:30 PM, with peak viewing around 11:12 PM. 🌙

So find yourself a good spot, step outside for a little while, and look up. Maybe put your phone down, take a few deep breaths, and just let yourself take it in.

There’s something about standing beneath a night sky and witnessing something like this that puts everything into perspective. We live under a pretty spectacular sky. Sometimes we just have to remember to look up. ✨

Enjoy the view tonight, friends. 🌕💙

I did it. ❤️

I am officially a certified Elemental Rhythm Breathwork Integration Coach.

After being certified as a breathwork facilitator, I wanted to help my clients go deeper and integrate breakthroughs, insights, and regulation into daily life so I started this coaching journey a little over a year ago, and I definitely thought I would have finished it sooner. 😂

But life has been lifing.

This past year has been very difficult, and it has been a time of pause. I had to put some things down for a while, and this was one of them.

But I never let it go. It was too important to me.

Even though I finished my coaching practicum last fall, I still had reflections, assessments, and logs to complete. Little by little, I kept coming back to it. Sometimes there were months between those little steps, and sometimes finishing felt ridiculously far away.

But if I’m anything, I’m extremely dedicated to the things that matter to me. And I am fiercely determined when I want something.

This year, life knocked me sideways. But what really matters is that I never gave up.

I don’t take coaching lightly. These are real people trusting me with real parts of their lives. I wanted to learn how to do this well, and I poured my heart into the people I coached throughout this program.

That’s why receiving such a great final evaluation meant so much to me.

The feedback I received from my trainer and mentor reflected something I had already begun to recognize in myself. One of my greatest strengths as a coach is my ability to meet people where they are without judgment, to have empathy for what they’re moving through, and to adapt to what they actually need in the moment.

And as I thought about that today, I realized that over this past year, I had to learn to do the same thing for myself.

I had to meet myself where I was instead of where I thought I should be. I had to recognize what I needed in the moment and be willing to adapt. I had to have empathy, compassion, and patience for myself, just like I do for my clients.

I think sometimes we put so much emphasis on finishing things quickly.

But sometimes the point is simply to finish.

I came back.
I finished.
And I’m really freaking proud of myself. ❤️

P.S. It’s an honor to be part of a company like Elemental Rhythm, one that I have so much respect for and whose values align so closely with my own.

Okay, I seriously geeked out over this last night. 😂💙

I went to see Lindsey Stirling in Kansas City last night, and at one point she started talking about breathwork.

BREATHWORK.

She shared about the impact breathwork has had on her life, especially during difficult seasons, and talked about her breathwork coach and something she calls “the pause.”

That space in life where it can feel like nothing is happening. Like you’re not moving forward. Maybe you even feel like you’re falling behind.

And she shared something her breathwork coach had told her:

Sometimes when it seems like nothing is happening, everything is happening.

Because sometimes the pause is where we’re being asked to go inward. Where things are shifting beneath the surface before we can even see them. Where we may actually be becoming more of who we’re meant to be.

And then she dedicated an entire song to breathwork.

I mean… COME ON. 😭😂

The song was absolutely beautiful. It brought me to tears.

I’ve admired Lindsey for years, obviously for her incredible talent, but also for her determination and the way she has continued to work, grow, and keep going. Last night she said something along the lines of being an ordinary person who worked incredibly hard and never gave up. I loved that.

So sitting there as a breathwork facilitator and coach, listening to someone I admire talk about how breathwork and her breathwork coach have helped change her life… that meant something to me.

I know what this work can do because I’ve experienced it in my own life, and I’ve had the privilege of witnessing what can happen when other people give themselves permission to breathe, feel, go inward, and meet themselves there.

But hearing Lindsey freaking Stirling talk about it from the stage and then dedicate a whole song to it?

YESSSSS. 😂🙌💙

This morning I stepped outside and put my bare feet in the grass.

The grass was cool and wet with morning dew. The sun was warm on my skin. I closed my eyes and watched the sunlight turn the inside of my eyelids red.

The locusts were singing. If you really listen, there’s a rhythm to their song. Different sounds coming from different places, rising and falling, almost like a chorus.

I could smell the wet earth and freshly cut grass. Feel the warmth of the sun. Hear all of this life happening around me.

Something in me settled.

I felt like my natural rhythm was being restored.

It made me wonder how we ever became so disconnected from the natural rhythms of the Earth.

Our ancestors were so much more deeply connected to the Earth than most of us are today. They lived their lives by her rhythms. It’s really only very recently in human history that we’ve been able to live so separately from them.

But we mustn’t forget that we live by rhythms, too.

Light and darkness. Waking and sleeping. Breathing in and breathing out. Movement and stillness. Seasons of growing, changing, letting go, beginning again.

These are rhythms of the Earth, and they are rhythms of our lives.

Living in our modern world, being busy and caught up in our day-to-day lives, we’ve moved farther away from them. We spend more time inside. More time rushing and staring at screens. We fill every empty space with something. Sometimes we can go an entire day barely noticing the sky.

But Earth… she’s still here, moving to the rhythms she always has.

The sun still rises. The rain still falls. Trees still reach toward the light. Insects still sing their strange little songs. The grass still collects dew while we’re sleeping.

We are part of all of it.

I think our bodies remember that even when our minds have forgotten.

Maybe that’s why standing barefoot in wet grass can feel like coming home to yourself.

There is so much life around us. So much abundance. So much beauty that asks absolutely nothing from us except that we notice it.

This morning, standing barefoot in my own yard, I found myself wondering…

How did we ever forget that we belong to such natural magnificence? 🌿☀️
