For more than a decade, the Kansas City Assessment and Triage Center (KC-ATC) has served as a critical resource for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. As behavioral health services have evolved and expanded across the region, the Missouri Department of Behavioral Health has requested a transition of providers to better align crisis services with Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) service areas and strengthen connections to ongoing care within local communities.
Beginning June 2, University Health will assume operations of the Behavioral Health Crisis Center at 2600 E. 12th Street. University Health extends its sincere gratitude to ReDiscover for its leadership and commitment to KC-ATC over the past decade.
