Family Night is always better around a table! 💙

Some of our Healing House staff and house leaders enjoyed a night out together at Stroud’s — sharing a great meal, plenty of laughs and time to simply enjoy each other’s company.

We’re grateful for the people who pour so much into our recovery community every day. Nights like this give us a chance to connect, recharge and enjoy the family we’ve built along the way. 🏡💜

🐾 What a night for Paws for Recovery! 🏆

Tuesday evening, we gathered at the Recovery Community Center to wrap up our 2026 Paws for Recovery competition and celebrate all of our contestants. We were so thankful for everyone who came out to join us — including a few of the pets themselves! 🐶🐾

Together, this fun campaign raised an amazing $5,415 for Healing House! 💜

And taking home the Grand Champion trophy was OTIS of Agape III! 🏆 Bob Dizmang proudly accepted the award on behalf of his best buddy and shared a few heartfelt words about what Otis means to him.

Thank you to everyone who voted, donated, shared posts and got behind their favorite pet. What started as a fun idea turned into something pretty special — and we loved celebrating it together Tuesday night!

🎓 CELEBRATING OUR C-STAR GRADUATES! 🎉

Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate members of our Healing House family who have officially graduated from the C-STAR substance use disorder treatment program!

This is more than a certificate. It represents hard work, commitment, accountability, growth and a whole lot of courage. ❤️

Graduating from C-STAR means successfully completing an individualized treatment plan and demonstrating meaningful progress toward recovery goals. Along the way, participants engage in services such as counseling, group treatment, case management, recovery support and the work necessary to build a healthier, more stable life.

There are no shortcuts to recovery. These graduates showed up, did the work, faced challenges and kept moving forward — one day and one decision at a time.

To each of our graduates: WE ARE PROUD OF YOU! Your accomplishment deserves to be celebrated, and we can't wait to see where your journey takes you next.

Mark first came to Healing House in 2013, where he found faith, family and recovery. Years later, after alcohol took him to one of the lowest points of his life, he knew where to turn.

“I can’t do this anymore,” he said.

Mark returned to Healing House and spent the next 15 months rebuilding his life. His commitment to recovery led him to become a house leader, and recently, he moved into one of our apartments — another step toward independence.

“The closer I grow my relationship with God, the better my recovery is. With Him, I can get through anything.”

Today, Mark has his beloved dog back, is pursuing a career and hopes his life can be a testimony to others who are still struggling.

For Mark, Healing House is more than a place to live. “It’s a sense of belonging. God’s hand is all over this place.” 💜

This September, we’re celebrating Bobbi Jo Reed’s 65th birthday by supporting the mission she has devoted nearly 25 years to building. 💜

A clearer view ahead!

This past weekend Healing House participants received free eye exams thanks to Dr. Terry Hawks and the 2020 VISION CLUB FOUNDATION!

Dr. Hawks and other volunteer optometrists bring eye care directly to people who may not otherwise have access. After their exams, participants who needed glasses even got to choose their own frames, with their finished glasses arriving a few weeks later.

We’re so grateful for Dr. Hawks and his team for sharing their time, talents and resources with our Healing House community. 💜

What an incredible gift—to help someone see the world a little more clearly!
