You weren't meant to live in survival mode.

Pushing through.
Running on empty.
Waiting for the next vacation to finally feel rested.

Burnout has a way of convincing us that exhaustion is normal.

But what if your body isn't failing you?

What if it's simply asking for a different kind of support?

Spinal Flow works with the nervous system to help the body shift out of stress and into a state where it can rest, restore, and reconnect.

This isn't about fixing you.

It's about helping you remember what it feels like to feel like yourself again.

If you're tired of just getting through the day and ready to explore another way, I'd love to support you.

There was a time when I thought being exhausted was just part of adulting.

I though that taking time to rest or care for myself was selfish.

Until my body started whispering..
then nudging...
then demanding my attention.

I know what it feels like to be the one everyone relies on while quietly wondering how much longer you can keep holding it all.

If this is where you are, I want you to know:

You're not lazy.
You're not weak.
And you're not alone.

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is stop pretending we're fine and begin listening to what our bodies have been trying to tell us all along.

Reach out if you cannot ignore the signals in your body any longer. I am here to support you find your way back from surviving to thriving 💜

06/16/2026

We live in a world that celebrates pushing through.

Coffee instead of rest.
Productivity over presence.
Ignoring the whispers of our bodies until they become impossible to ignore.

But burnout isn't a personal failure.

It's often a nervous system that has been carrying too much for too long.

If you've been feeling exhausted no matter how much you sleep, struggling with headaches, chronic pain, brain fog, anxiety, or the sense that you're just getting through the day… your body may be asking for a different kind of support.

You don't have to earn rest.
You don't have to wait until you're completely depleted to listen.

Your body isn't working against you.

It's adapting.

And maybe it's time to begin supporting it in a new way.

Yesterday at the beach, I made a little friend. 🦀

I found this crab flipped over on its back, so I helped turn it right side up. Instead of scurrying away, it stayed with me the entire time I was there.

We searched for treasures. It crawled on me, let me hold it, and reminded me of something I think many of us are moving through right now.

There comes a time when the shell that once protected us becomes too small for who we're becoming.

Stress, pain, grief, survival… our bodies carry these stories too. We hold them in our tissues, our nervous systems, and often along our spine.

But Spinal Flow has shown me that the body is always moving toward healing when given the right conditions.

Toward more ease.
More freedom.
More of ourselves.

As I wait for the final steps before opening the clinic, I can't help but feel that this season is about shedding what no longer serves us and trusting what comes next.

Maybe you're feeling it too.

The courage to soften.
To let go.
To begin again.

I can't wait to hold space for this work in our community very soon. 🌊

One of my favorite parts of the clinic is this mural.

It feels like a bridge between where I've been and where I'm going.

Huge shout out to Adove Roden .roden and Kim Murriera for helping to land her on the wall.

Long before Spinal Flow, there was The River Body — a name and logo that came to me through a deep understanding that our bodies are more like rivers than machines.

Always moving.

Always adapting.

Always responding to the environment around them.

Our bodies are made primarily of water.

Water flows through our cells, our tissues, our fascia, and through the cerebrospinal fluid that bathes and protects the brain and spine.

Everything in the body is connected through this living network of communication.

I've always been fascinated by the work of researchers like Masaru Emoto and, more recently, Veda Austin, who invite us to consider the relationship between water, environment, attention, and experience.

Whether viewed scientifically, philosophically, or spiritually, it raises an interesting question:

If so much of us is water, how are our experiences shaping us?

Our stress.

Our thoughts.

Our relationships.

Our joys.

Our grief.

Spinal Flow works through the spine, the nervous system, and the body's own innate intelligence.

And I believe the what we're really doing is helping our inner river flow again.

Helping the body remember what it already knows.

Helping life move where it may have become stuck.

I look forward to tending to your river body

Stay tuned for the final reveal🌊

I found this cup sitting in the middle of a path over my birthday weekend.

It stopped me in my tracks.

Sitting there in the light, it looked almost like a cup of gold.

It got me thinking bout the path I am embarking on with opening this clinic and the potential for people to begin a new kind of wellness journey.

About the people who have tried everything and are exhausted from searching.

Searching for relief.

Searching for answers.

Searching for a way to feel like themselves again.

Over the years I've met so many people carrying pain, fatigue, anxiety, overwhelm, and symptoms that no one seems able to explain or resolve.

People doing their best to keep going while quietly wondering if they'll ever truly feel better.

And yet beneath all of that, the body still carries an incredible intelligence.

A wisdom that has never left.

Sometimes it's simply buried beneath layers of stress, tension, and disconnection.

That is what gives me so much hope.

Not that Spinal Flow heals people.

But that it helps create the conditions for the body to reconnect with its own healing wisdom.

To feel more present.

More alive.

More at ease.

As I stand on the edge of opening this clinic, that is my prayer.

One person.

One nervous system.

One family.

One ripple at a time.

Because when we feel better, we show up differently for ourselves, our families, and our communities.

And those ripples matter 🌊

Today is my last day working from the home studio my husband built for me 6 years ago.

As I sit with that, and with my birthday this weekend, I find myself thinking mostly about my mom.

My mom lived with chronic pain for most of her life. So much of my own path in healing work has been shaped by watching someone I loved struggle to feel comfortable in her body.

One of the reasons Spinal Flow came into my life was because I prayed for it.

Last week at the Spinal Flow Immersive, another practitioner shared a story about her 75-year-old mother who had lost her joy, her vitality, and her desire to keep going. Through Spinal Flow, she found her way back to herself.

What stayed with me most were the words her mother recently said to a friend:

"I have never been more content."

I haven't stopped thinking about that.

Because I don't know that my mom ever got to experience that kind of ease.

And for a moment, I found myself wishing I had discovered this work sooner.

But the truth is, I think she had a hand in leading me to it.

When I was praying for a way to continue serving people, while also caring for my own body as I got older, this path appeared.

And deep in my heart, I know she helped place it there.

So today, as I close one chapter and prepare to open another, I am filled with gratitude.

For my mom.

For this work.

For every person who has trusted me along the way.

And for whatever beautiful unfolding comes next.

I miss you Mom and love you infinitly. 🤍
