The future of CPP in Nebraska is bright! ✨

Today marks the official end of Learning Session 1, and the start of an 18-month training journey, for this group of mental health clinicians. Huge congratulations to everyone completing this first step!

As an added bonus, we also got to host and reconnect with several of our CPP graduates this week. We are thankful for their dedication and that they're part of our CPP community.

We're hosting a community conversation on 3/31/26 about Violence Prevention. We want to highlight some of the amazing people who will be leading this conversation! Today we are highlighting Jesica Vickers. Jesica is a Mental Health Clinician and Director at Live Well Counseling Center, where she brings two decades of experience providing direct services to youth and families across a variety of settings. Her clinical work is grounded in extensive training in trauma‑informed and research‑based practices, including best practices in su***de prevention, postvention, and intervention, as well as violence and threat assessment.

LWCC was a fortunate awardee of the ARPA Grants offered through Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska that ended in 2025. A focus of this work was 'Reducing Behavioral Health Licensure Barriers Through Supervision Incentives".
