If your ankle hurts but every test says the joint looks “fine,” this might be why.

In this session, what initially looked like a simple “ankle problem” turned out to be more of a nerve issue.

The bones, ligaments, and tendons checked out… but the nerve running down the leg was irritated and wasn’t gliding the way it should.

So instead of just cranking on the ankle, we looked at the bigger picture:

- How the nerve was moving along its path
- Where it was experiencing tension
- How the surrounding fascia and joints were affecting its movement

From there, we used gentle, specific hands-on work combined with movement to help calm the nerve down and allow the ankle to finally move and function more normally.

If you’ve had ankle pain that never quite made sense, it may be more than “just the joint.”

If your ankle pain has never quite made sense, you’re not crazy. Save this for the next time someone tells you, “It’s fine.”

“What does a session with our therapists actually look like?”

Our process starts with our intake coordinator, Natalie. She will listen to what you are struggling with, what your goals are, then best match you with the therapist that makes the most sense for your needs.

A typical initial session with our therapists may look like:
Listening to your full story (injuries, surgeries, stress, goals)
Looking at how your whole system is moving, not just the painful spot
Choosing the few highest‑leverage things to work on that day

That might include:
Focused strength and control work
Targeted hands‑on work where you’re blocked
And, if it fits your case, FSM (Frequency Specific Microcurrent) to help tissues and your nervous system change more efficiently

By the end of the visit you know:
What your therapist saw
Why they chose the approach they did
Exactly what to focus on at home until you see them again

👉 If you like understanding the “why” behind your care and being an active part of it, drop WHY and we’ll send you next steps to answering that question.

At R3, the biggest difference isn’t which therapist you see.

It’s the model we all work inside.

Every eval here looks at how your spine, pelvis, gut, scars, jaw, airway, and nervous system are interacting – not just the loudest body part.

The “flavor” changes therapist to therapist:
Some sessions are more hands‑on heavy
Some lean into precise movement, nervous‑system work, and Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) to help your system respond

Different tools.

Same systems‑based approach.

Same goal: a body that can actually handle your life, not just look good on a table.

If you’ve only experienced one style of PT before, it’s easy to think that’s all there is. It’s not.

👉 Curious what a systems‑based plan could look like for you? Comment or DM us and we’ll get you details on how to start.

“Tight hips, bad posture, zero flexibility, and running hurt.”

That’s how one runner described himself before working with us.

Instead of handing him a generic hip stretch routine, she:
Looked at how his feet, hips, spine, and ribs were sharing load with every step
Coached him through specific movement and control drills
Used hands‑on work where it actually mattered
Gave a simple, focused home plan so his system could learn a new pattern

Result: he’s now running pain‑free with better posture and control.

That’s the difference between chasing symptoms and changing the system.

“I tore my biceps tendon… why are we talking about my neck and shoulder blades?”

Because your body doesn’t read your MRI report.

After a partial biceps tendon tear, one patient came in frustrated that things weren’t progressing.

Instead of staring at the elbow only, her R3 therapist asked:
What’s happening at the neck, shoulder blade, and upper ribs?
Is the biceps overworking because of how the rest of the system is built and moving?
Is the nervous system still guarding, even though the tissue is “healed” on paper?

Her plan blended:
Work on the neck/shoulder/scapular mechanics
Targeted exercises for control
And FSM (Frequency Specific Microcurrent) sessions to support tissue healing and nervous‑system calming

That’s what finally moved the needle.

👉 If your injury is “healed” but your arm or shoulder still doesn’t feel trustworthy, drop TRUST below and we’ll send you details on a re‑evaluation at R3.

“Hands‑on PT” doesn’t always look like deep work on one sore muscle.

Sometimes hands‑on means:
Coaching your nervous system through a new, safer pattern while you move
Guiding you through specific exercises so your brain and body finally get on the same page
Using tools like FSM in the background while we retrain how you load and support your joints

Depending on your needs, your sessions may be very “in it” with you – just not always in the way people expect if they’ve only ever had spot treatment on the painful area.

Different surfaces. Same intention: help your system change, not just chase a symptom.

👉 If your past PT felt like a lot of poking one spot and sending you home, and you want to experience something more whole‑body and active, comment SYSTEM.

A family drove in for a week‑long intensive with their son.

What they noticed most wasn’t just the techniques.

They noticed that:
From the first call to the last session, they felt seen and cared for
Each therapist brought different strengths, but worked off a unified plan
The plan kept adapting daily based on how he responded
He left not only moving better, but more confident in his body

That’s what a systems‑based, team approach looks like in real life.

We’re not “one guru with magic hands.” We’re a group of therapists thinking together about your story and what will actually move the needle.

👉 If you’ve ever wished your providers would actually talk to each other, save this or share it with someone who needs that kind of team behind them.

Home exercises are not here to make you feel guilty.

Done right, they’re how your brain and body decide whether to keep the new pattern we found in the clinic… or fall back to the old one.

In sessions, that can look like:
A short, focused list of movements that matter
Clear instruction on how and when to do them
Checking and adjusting them each visit based on how your system is responding

Not 20 random exercises you’ll never do. A few key ones that make the work you do in the clinic actually stick in your life.

👉 If you’ve ever been overwhelmed by exercise lists and want a more targeted approach, comment FOCUSED.

Two people can have the same MRI report and need completely different care.

One shoulder pain patient might have:
Big scar and fascia restrictions
A nervous system on constant high alert

Another might have:
Major motor control gaps
Weakness in key support areas

If we treat them the same because their diagnosis code matches, we’ve already failed.
That’s why some plans here are more hands‑on heavy, and others lean more into movement, control, and FSM inside the same systems‑based model.

The goal is always the same: fix how the system works, not just chase the loudest symptom.

👉 If you’ve been treated like a diagnosis instead of a person and you’re ready for someone to look at the whole picture, comment WHOLE and we’ll send you info on our evaluation process.
