The 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day design is here.

Every year, Red Ribbon Day brings our community together to stand united in prevention, hope, and healthy futures. Today, we're proud to reveal the official artwork that will represent this year's celebration.

This year's design was created by the incredibly talented Maddie (@ happynotmad on Instagram), whose illustration beautifully captures the heart of Red Ribbon Day—families, friends, neighbors, and community members of all ages coming together to show that prevention is everyone's responsibility.

Join us on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Nomahegan Park in Cranford as we celebrate the 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day with a community walk, family activities, resources, entertainment, and more.

A huge thank you to Maddie for bringing this year's vision to life. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you.

A new week is another opportunity to choose hope, connection, and growth.

As July comes to a close, we're reminded that recovery isn't about reaching a finish line—it's about taking one step at a time, surrounded by people who believe in you.

Our Recovery Community Centers, including our Vision of Hope Recovery Center, individuals find more than support. They find community, encouragement, purpose, and a place where recovery can continue to grow long after treatment ends.

No matter where you are on your journey, know that hope is here, recovery is possible, and you never have to walk the path alone.

Just recently we held our Management Leadership Team meeting, and what a way to start!

With this month's theme, Building Organizational Trust, our managers came together ready to learn, collaborate, and grow as one team. Through honest conversations, thoughtful reflection, and plenty of encouragement, we began building the kind of leadership culture where every voice is valued, every perspective matters, and trust is strengthened one conversation at a time.

Congratulations to our peer-selected award winners! Iliana was recognized as our MVP of Leadership, Shante received the Creative Sportsmanship Award, Natalie was named Team Spirit Champion, and Michelle earned Leadership on the Field. We also want to congratulate Stacey and Gabriela, who surprised everyone by earning the opportunity to help co-create next month's Management Leadership Team agenda.

A special thank you to everyone who embraced our sports theme, brought their authentic selves to the table, and made the day both meaningful and fun. And thank you to our CEO, Morgan Thompson, for setting the tone as our "Head Coach" and reminding us what strong leadership looks like.

This was only the first quarter. We have a whole season ahead of us, and we're excited to continue growing together as leaders, teammates, and champions for the communities we serve. Here's to building trust, strengthening our organization, and leading with purpose every step of the way.

Here's a look back at our Juneteenth x Pride celebration with the EMBRACE team at the Elizabethport Community Center.

This gathering was a reminder that our communities are strongest when everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated. By honoring both Juneteenth and Pride together, we recognized the importance of freedom, resilience, identity, and belonging while creating a space where people could connect, learn, and celebrate one another.

We're proud to foster welcoming spaces that bring people together and celebrate the diversity that makes our communities stronger. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration so meaningful. We can't wait to see you at the next one!

New partnership, new beginnings!

The Recovery Management Checkup South had an incredible time hosting our first outpatient peer support group at RCA Lighthouse Outpatient in Mays Landing. We're proud to partner with organizations that share our commitment to making recovery support more accessible and creating spaces where people can connect, grow, and thrive.

Thank you to the RCA Lighthouse team for welcoming us—we're excited for what's ahead!

Our Recovery Division recently came together at our Rise Up Recovery Center in Plainfield to assemble harm reduction outreach kits that will be distributed to community members through our street outreach efforts.

Thanks to funding from Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center, these kits include harm reduction, safer s*x, wound care, and other essential outreach supplies that help reduce barriers to care and connect individuals with lifesaving resources and support.

We’re grateful to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners who make this important work possible. Every kit assembled represents another opportunity to meet people where they are and support healthier, safer communities.

Community partnerships create lasting impact.

Our heartfelt thanks to the many organizations that joined the Greenway Family Success Center and the South Amboy Branch YMCA for this year's Baby Supplies Exposition. Because of your partnership, families had access to valuable health information, parenting resources, mental health supports, early childhood services, and essential baby supplies—all in one place.

Together, we're creating stronger support systems for parents and ensuring every family knows they have a community standing beside them. Thank you for helping make this event so meaningful. We look forward to continuing this work together!
