☀️ Looking for a job where no two days look the same?
If you enjoy working with people, nutrition, mental health, shopping, cooking, walking, teaching, and helping people build healthier lives, this might be the perfect fit.
We’re hiring for a highly flexible community-based health position that gets you out from behind a desk and lets you work with clients in practical, meaningful ways.
Multiple educational and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply. You do NOT need to know how to do everything listed below—we can teach the right person!
Your day might include:
🛒 Meeting a client at the grocery store to teach healthy shopping on a budget
🥗 Helping someone create a realistic, individualized food plan
👩🍳 Teaching a client how to prepare simple, healthy meals
🚶 Taking a walk with someone while helping them build exercise into their anxiety-management plan
❤️ Checking vital signs
💊 Helping a client develop systems and routines for taking medications as directed
🧠 Providing practical health education related to nutrition, ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleep, stress, or wellness
📱 Completing a virtual or phone check-in with someone who needs extra support
🏠 Meeting a client in their home when getting out into the community is difficult
📋 Completing screenings or gathering information and communicating concerns back to the clinical team
📚 Meeting at the library or a coffee shop to review goals, food logs, or barriers to progress
And here’s one of the best parts: you largely build your own schedule around your availability and your clients’ availability.
Services may take place in clients’ homes, in the community, virtually, or by phone. Travel time and documentation time are paid.
This position can be especially appealing for parents, people looking for flexibility, and anyone who enjoys independence and variety rather than doing the same thing all day.
Who thrives in this job?
Someone who is self-motivated, dependable, comfortable working independently, creative when solving problems, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
If you need every hour of your day planned for you, this probably won’t be your favorite job. But if you love the idea of thinking, “What would actually help this person make their life healthier today?” and then helping them do it—you may love it here.
Think this sounds amazing but aren’t sure you qualify? Apply anyway.
If you’re compassionate, reliable, willing to learn, and excited about nutrition, mental health, and whole-person wellness, we are willing to teach you. ☀️
