Meet our wonderful new SLP, Ms. Jenn! 🗣️✨
Jenn is a bilingual (Spanish/English) pediatric speech-language pathologist at Express Yourself Therapy’s Kensington location. She earned her master’s from Teachers College, Columbia University and has previously supported neurodivergent children and multi-modal communicators in the nonpublic school setting and outpatient clinics.
Her clinical interests include gestalt language processing (Natural Language Acquisition), AAC, motor speech disorders, literacy, and multilingual language development. She has advanced training through Meaningful Speech (NLA/GLP + AAC), Inside Out Sensory Certificate, Visualizing and Verbalizing® (Lindamood-Bell), Seeds of Learning®, PROMPT (Introductory Level), and is currently completing her DIRFloortime® certification.
Jenn’s intervention style is child-led and rooted in connection. She loves discovering with families how communication can be natural, functional, and joyful in everyday life. 🌈
Outside the clinic, she enjoys gardening, sipping cafecitos with a cozy mystery book, collaborating with her husband on an ever-growing Google Doc about their dream trip to Antarctica, and cuddling with her toothless (yup! you read that right) black cat, Bean. 🐈⬛❄️”
