We help children with behavioral needs, adults with developmental disabilities, and seniors with physical disabilities. CORE VALUES

Our services focus on bringing out the best in each person, and respecting the unique talents, interests, and values of both staff and the individuals we serve. We are committed to excellence and continuous improvement and will strive to use best practice in our management, and all of the services we provide. If we try something and it doesn’t work we are willing to try another way. We seek to maximize community participation of the people we serve. This means that through thoughtful planning, services are provided in the most natural and inclusive ways possible. Our services will be invisible to other community members and encourage independence. We value professional integrity and respect and these values provide a foundation for how we treat our staff, peers, and the individuals we serve. This means assuming competence, practicing positive communication skills, confidentiality, honesty, and working toward mutual understanding. We believe in the importance of collaboration and shared leadership and work to develop positive relationships, and partnerships with the individuals we serve, other organizations, their staff, and with each other. Leadership is encouraged at all levels, most importantly in the families and individuals we serve. These values represent the way we do business as an agency.

Meet the Early Learning Program Team!

In our Community Connections Early Learning Program, we're proud to serve families throughout Ketchikan, Metlakatla, and Prince of Wales with a team of dedicated educators, therapists, and developmental specialists who help children thrive during their earliest years.

This month, we're excited to introduce the amazing individuals who make our program possible and welcome our new director, Kelly Moore, Program Director and Physical Therapist. Together, our team provides support, guidance, and services for children from birth to age 3 and their families.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our nation and touched the lives of countless Americans.
As we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, we also honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders, military members, and everyday citizens who answered the call in our country's darkest hours. Their sacrifice, resilience, and commitment to serving others continue to inspire us today.
At Community Connections through our Veteran Services Program, we recognize the profound impact 9/11 had on many of the veterans, service members, families, and communities we proudly support. For some, this day brings memories of loss. For others, it reflects a call to service, unity, and unwavering dedication to protecting our nation.
