Behavior Interventions, owned and operated by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, was founded in 2006 to improve how Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services affect individuals with special needs. Our focus on ABA Services and their effect is strategically in line with our values. We value expertise, effectiveness, and ethical conduct when providing quality ABA Services. Remaining in touch with cur

rent research and actively seeking out additional trainings is how we succeed in our expertise. Our data driven programs evaluate the effectiveness of any given procedure; specifically, how it is effecting the individual and supporting the desired outcomes. Ethics can provide essential tools when deciding the best course of action and we thrive on remaining ethical in our decisions.

🔹 Why Behavior Interventions? 🔹

Today, we heard from Valerie, Behavior Interventions Senior Quality And Development Specialist.

“I’ve been with Behavior Interventions for five years, and from the beginning, I saw that the work here is grounded in a question Jerome often asks: to what problem are we the solution? That mindset, along with a constant focus on doing better, has shaped my experience from the start.

I experienced this early on when the owners, Jerome and Christine, took me seriously as a new clinician advocating for underserved families in my area. At the time, there were only two clinicians and no center. Today, we have a center in Mount Joy serving clients across rural Dauphin, Lancaster, Cumberland, and York counties, including those in our Enhanced Program.

BII aligns with my values. It’s BCBA-owned and operated, data-driven, and research-informed. Now, as part of the Quality Improvement department, I’m focused on ensuring our work is both effective and meaningful by supporting our clinicians' work with families. BII has created a space where people like me can grow and learn, and where investing in quality and professional development leads to lasting impact far beyond any single case.

Because the question of what problem we’re solving matters. Without it, it’s easy to get lost. Our goal isn’t growth for the sake of growth, or being “the best,” or recruiting the most BCBAs. It’s to improve lives. That means empowering families to succeed without us and making sure our work leads to outcomes that get them there. That’s the real investment, and something BII consistently prioritizes.

That’s why Behavior Interventions."

Are you looking for a structured social skills program in the Exton area that helps your child build confidence interacting with peers?

Our Exton location offers the CBSI (Center-Based Social Instruction) program, an ABA-based social skills model designed to help children develop communication, peer interaction, and emotional regulation skills through structured instruction and real-time practice with similar-aged peers.

💬 Direct Social Skills Instruction: Children receive targeted teaching on skills like conversation, initiating interactions, responding appropriately, and understanding social cues.

🤝 Peer Interaction & Group Learning: Structured opportunities with peers allow children to practice social skills in real time through guided activities and support.

🧠 Emotional Regulation & Flexibility: We help children recognize emotions, manage frustration, and respond more effectively in social situations.

🎯 Generalization of Skills: Skills aren’t just taught, they’re practiced and reinforced across activities to support carryover into home, school, and community settings.

🌱 Individualized BCBA-Led Programming: Every child’s goals are based on their unique needs, with ongoing data collection and program adjustments to support meaningful progress.

At Behavior Interventions, CBSI is designed to help children understand that social interaction has value and give them the tools to engage with others confidently.
