SFWT had a busy week! Megan O’Connell, our Family Engagement Worker, partnered with Wraparound to provide education and an activity to their group of QAC kids!

Fun fact: did you know that Wraparound is in our old space, Ste. 500 just a few doors down? We love having such amazing neighbors!

Our school-based team had the opportunity to go to the 2-Day Conscious Discipline training on Addressing the Mental Health Crisis in the Schools in Annapolis, MD yesterday and today.

Take aways:
1. Always remember to stay curious and that feelings are the bridge between problems and solutions💙

2. Safety is created in the SMALL MOMENTS. The way we show up as adults is the first INTERVENTION💛

We are excited to regroup this summer and find ways to improve attunement in our schools next year.

This will be an evening filled with fun, connection and positive energy - with live music, a gaga ball pit, art projects, food trucks, and much more.
