Dr. Pokorny specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery as well as hand and microsurgery. Dr. Pokorny graduated from North Eastern Ohio University College of Medicine. He then went on to general and plastic surgery training at St.
Following his plastic surgery training, he completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. He also enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserves and currently serves at the rank of Major. After training Dr. Pokorny worked at the Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, Pennsylvania. He served as chief of plastic surgery for three years before moving to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he worked at Leber and Banducci Plastic Surgery prior to moving to the Outer Banks with his family in 2009.
