A huge thank you to Sage Plum Creek for welcoming me to present the Alzheimer's Association: Capital of Texas Chapter program, 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s.

It was an honor to spend time with such an engaged group and have meaningful conversations about brain health, early detection, and the importance of recognizing the signs of Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Education and awareness are so important in helping individuals and families navigate this journey.

Thank you to Mitzi and everyone at Sage Plum Creek for your hospitality and for helping bring these important resources to your community. I truly enjoyed meeting everyone and appreciate the opportunity to share information that can make a difference.

Together, we can continue to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

🚗💜 What a Ride! 💜🚗

The engines were running, the smiles were shining, and the community came together for an amazing cause!

Thank you to Rhonda Brawner and Heart to Heart Hospice for organizing the Miles for Memories Cruise & Car Show. Watching the procession of vehicles arrive at The Philomena was truly something special.

Our residents lined up to watch the cruise roll through and couldn’t stop talking about all the amazing cars, motorcycles, and unique rides. Many shared memories of vehicles they once owned, road trips they took, and stories from years gone by.

Events like this remind us that sometimes the simplest moments create the biggest smiles.

To every driver, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter—thank you for helping raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and for bringing so much joy to our residents.

💜🚗 Miles for Memories 2026 – What a Beautiful Day! 🚗💜

Our hearts are full after participating in the Miles for Memories Cruise & Car Show benefiting Alzheimer’s Awareness.

A special thank you to Rhonda Brawner and Heart to Heart Hospice for organizing such a wonderful event and bringing our community together for an important cause. Your passion, dedication, and hard work created a day filled with smiles, memories, and meaningful connections.

Our residents absolutely loved seeing all the incredible vehicles, meeting the drivers, sharing stories, and voting for their favorites. From classic cars and motorcycles to unique rides and Jeeps, every vehicle helped make the day special.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and supported Alzheimer’s awareness. Together, we’re helping keep memories alive while supporting families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
