Thank you, Canton! We have felt so welcomed in Canton over the last few weeks. The Canton Main Street Association Inc and Canton City Hall have gone out of their way to help us celebrate our opening, introduce us to the community, and make our newest Healthspan location feel at home.

They even made sure Gladys had her very own Canton Main Street shirt, which may officially make her the best dressed member of the Canton team.

Opening a second location was a big step for all of us, and having so many people excited to welcome Healthspan into Canton has made it even more special. Thank you to everyone at Canton Main Street and City Hall for the kindness, encouragement, and support. We already feel like part of the community, and we're really happy to be here. Gladys clearly is too.

For many of our patients, Matt Scoggin, FNP-C, needs very little introduction.

Matt has been part of Healthspan from the beginning and has helped shape so much of what our practice has become. He grew up outside of La Belle, graduated from Highland, and has spent his career caring for people in the communities he knows so well. That connection matters to him, and you can see it in the relationships he builds with his patients.

Matt also keeps the rest of us calm and chill. His wife, Lexi, and their family have become part of the Healthspan story too, regularly showing up for all the things, community events and whatever else we've gotten ourselves into.

We're grateful for the provider, and friend Matt continues to be, and we're pretty proud of what we've built together.

Healthspan will be closed today for Labor Day so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families.

We’ll be back tomorrow, and for the first time, we’ll be opening the doors in both La Belle and Canton! It’s pretty exciting to finally be able to say that after all of the planning, construction, hiring, training, and help from so many people along the way.

We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing Labor Day. We’ll see you tomorrow in La Belle and Canton!
