Great River Roadhouse chose us as it's community partner for May! 1/4 of the proceeds for each pizza of the month sold will be donated to us 😃 If you're near DeSoto or up for a road trip, consider trying the May pizza and help us bring in some dough! (See what I did there??...dough?)

The 2026 WI Peer Recovery Conference is now on the books! Thank you to Independent Living Resources for making these events an absolute joy to attend. We had great feedback on our presentation- Beyond the Box: Diverse Pathways to Recovery and we hope those that attended are able to use what they learned in their lives AND their work. Thank you to all the amazing individuals out there fighting to keep Peer Support authentic and speaking out against clinicalization! It's not an add on-- it's a foundation!!

💙 Gentle reminder 💙

It's important for the respite to remain true to its purpose. Although we recognize the need for detox and emergency shelter, we do not provide those services. We work outside of clinical and systems based services to support individuals seeking an alternative to hospitalization and escalating crisis.
If you are looking for detox, shelter or housing resources Great Rivers 211 may be able to help.

The move is complete and the respite is open!
Groups will continue to be on hold while we work out a hybrid option.
We appreciate the patience of everyone that reached out for support during the transition. Reminder that respite stays are Monday through Friday (10am departure) and warmline is available from Monday 8am through Friday 8am. We are not available after 8am on Friday through the weekend.

Keys to the new location acquired!

If you are interested and able to help with getting it ready, please call 608-461-5527 or email [email protected]. A message here is good too.

We'll give out the address (Northside La Crosse) privately to those that plan to volunteer.

We have quite a bit to do with cleaning, minor repairs to walls etc and painting.
Our plan is to get it all done next week so we can bring in furniture.

Hours would be between Monday through Thursday from 9 to 4 or so.

We have enough boxes! 💙 Thank you to everyone that dropped some off and to those that offered. Once we get access to the new place we will reach out to those that volunteered to help with cleaning. We're doing our best to get things up and running again. We really appreciate the support!
