When is the BEST time to book my 3D/4D ultrasound?

While every baby is different, my favorite window is between 28–30 weeks.

By this stage, babies have developed those chubby cheeks, full facial features, and sweet little expressions that make for beautiful images and experiences like these. 🥹🤍 AND they haven’t grown big enough yet to be so squished we can’t see them or they have no room to move for us.

At this age babies are typically in the 2-3 pound range. We will measure your baby on the day of your scan to get you an estimated weight and even an anticipated birth weight!

Of course, we can still get amazing pictures before or after this timeframe, but if you’re hoping for those classic “baby-face” images, 28–30 weeks is the sweet spot.
