Why “pull your shoulders back” makes posture worse.

Her upper back and ribcage in extension so the shoulder blades had nothing to rest on. That’s the winging. Forcing the shoulders back only compresses the rib cage further. Instead we expand the posterior mediastinum, and upright posture shows up on its own. Assess, don’t guess. Laguna Hills, CA.
